Ideas for the ladies in your life! This Gift Guide for Her includes ideas from a mini bucket bag to luxe bath soak.
I love love love making gift guides for ladies. It’s probably the easiest guide I make each year since I just compile my own Christmas list or a list of things I own and LOVE. This year, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fashion finds (but don’t worry, the sizing is easy!) and a few beauty essentials that I seriously love and use daily. If you’re anything like me, you use gift guides like this to inform your OWN wishlist, so hopefully something on this list catches your eye, and you can send the link to this blog post to your elves.
My favorite gift pick this year is a J.Lowery Mini Bucket Bag purse. I got one about a year ago, and it’s by far my favorite purse. It’s small enough to wear daily, the gold chain is removable, so you can dress it up or down, and it’s VERY well-made. I also love that the company is female founded and a small business (not to mention, my favorite retailer, Tuckernuck, carries them). It’s not a cheap bag by any means, but it’s much more affordable than designer bags like Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc (and more unique in my opinion!). Add this to the top of your list for Santa–I promise you’ll LOVE it.
In terms of my favorite gifts to give others, the Spanx pullover (Also Oprah’s favorite!) or Stanley Tumbler are the two gifts I’ll likely give the most this season. They’re practical and items I’m truly love. The pullover is a little over $100, making it a super nice gift (maybe for your daughter, mother in law, sister, etc.), and the Stanley Tumbler is $40, which is a better price point for a friend gift.
The rest of the gifts in this list are truly things I will either be gifting myself or have gifted in the past. I used to include 20+ gifts in this list. But this year I’m paring it down to only include the very best. So I hope it’s helpful!
I HIGHLY recommend shopping early this year to make sure you can get gifts under the tree in time. I also love to shop early every year so that I can enjoy it so much more and can focus more on enjoying the holiday season once it arrives.
I’ve had this for about a year (I have the black croc), and it’s my favorite bag for almost every occasion. I love the size for errands since it’s not overwhelming like a tote bag, and I also love it for date nights or dinners out, since the gold chain and shiny leather makes it dressy and fun for all occasions. J.Lowery is a female founded small business, and I’m a huge fan. Tuckernuck (my favorite online retailer at the moment) carries this bag in two great colors. I think I’d choose the green croc for winter, but I love both!
I was given this pullover at this year’s LTK Conference and every single influencer at the conference FREAKED out about how amazing it is. It’s the softest material but doesn’t look sloppy, the fit is flattering but not tight, and the quality is 10/10, true to Spanx’s reputation. I find the jackets and pullovers make great gifts since the sizing is simple! I have this in an XS, which is my typical size. Oh, and it made Oprah’s list of favorite things this year in case you need more convincing.
If you don’t have this tumbler yet, you really are missing out. This water bottle holds 40oz, keeps your drink hot or cold for HOURS, and fits in a cup holder. I use mine everyday, and I’m planning to order these as gifts myself. One thing to note about these 40oz tumblers is that they do get heavy (40oz is no joke, ha!), so if you think you’d be more likely to use something lighter, this 30oz version is what I’d go for!
Another GREAT gift for the women in your life. I have this robe and wear it nonstop. Lake is far and away my favorite brand for sleepwear. I’ve tried a lot of pajamas, and LAKE is superior. The quality is SO good, everything is incredibly soft, and their designs are classic and sweet, so you there’s no need to feel strange about gifting sleepwear. I find that gifting a robe makes more sense than a PJ set for sizing reasons, but anything from LAKE would be fun to give or receive.
You can’t go wrong with this! If you’re not sure clothing is the right gift for the person you’re shopping for, a Barefoot Dreams Blanket is a full-proof winning gift. I’ve given these blankets to a handful of family members and friends over the years, and each of them rave about how cozy and soft the blanket is. You can order them in a few difference sizes, but I find that this version is the most standard.
I ordered these Nike sneakers for myself last week and they are SO cute in person. They’re a sporty sneaker, so I wouldn’t wear necessarily with jeans, but they’re PERFECT for leggings, joggers, or any athleisure look. They’re under $100, run true to size, and a hot item this season! Most of the whole sizes are still in stock.
The T3 Curling Iron is one of the best beauty tools I’ve ever tried. I have the Dyson AirWrap and I still think the T3 Curling Iron is better in terms of fool-proof curls.
Have you seen these mini Ugg booties? I’m obsessed! They’re so much cuter than slippers, but serve practically the same purpose. I love them for wearing to pilates or yoga classes, going to get the mail, or wearing as house shoes. They’re such a fun gift. Get one size up.
If you’d rather save your money, this pair from Amazon looks identical and has incredible reviews.
I’ve never been able to find oversized statement sunglasses that truly fit my face until the Manhattan pair by Anea Hill. I LOVE how fun the shape is, the matte black is super chic but also casual, and the quality is just like designer sunglasses. These would be a super fun gift for a fashion-forward friend. Use promo code “terilyn” for 15% off!
I’m a makeup and skincare junkie, so gifts like this are SO fun for me. This AHA mask is truly unreal, and such a great gift for anyone who loves skincare. I use it once or twice a week (no need for more than that since it’s so effective). You can order it on it’s own here, or as a bundle with the applicator tool (I like this tool but it’s not necessary). One other option is to buy this gift set since it has a mini AHA mask + another face mask I like. If you’ve never purchased Beautycounter, use the code CLEANFORALL20 for 20% off your order, and read my full review of the mask right here.
I started taking Equilibria CBD this summer and it’s been a game changer. In fact, I struggle a lot with falling asleep and sleeping through the night and this has made a big difference. I also take it during the day when I feel stress coming on and it helps calm me down subtly without making me feel weird. I tried it for months to see if I noticed a difference before I decided to recommend it. But I wholeheartedly recommend it now. I wrote a full review on the blog with all the details and the products I use the most here.
The best option to gift is the Bath Soak. Since CBD can feel intimidating or a little foreign to some people, this bath soak is the best way to share Equilibria with them in a super natural way.
When I tell you that I love this stuff, I LOVE THIS STUFF. It’s the best looking (and feeling) lipgloss I’ve ever had. It makes such a good gift for friends since it’s in the 20$ price range. I have almost every color and you can’t go wrong. Perfect for a stocking, or paired with another gift! Use code terilyn15 for 15% off your order.
I’m a HUGE fan of Joy Creative Shop. They have super fun paper products, and their personalized stationary would make a perfect gift for teachers, girlfriends, daughters, or sons. Use code terilyn10 for 10% off your order!
