This past weekend I hosted Girls’ Weekend 2013 2.0, and it was absolutely lovely. (The first girls’ weekend of 2013 was the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run.) We ate lots of cheese and drank lots of wine and talked non-stop. We shopped online and watched TV. We ate delicious food at Camino, Thai Sawatdee, Mozelle’s, and Willow’s Bistro. Yep, we planned our weekend together around food.
Maizey played with her bestie Annie. I was really anxious that they wouldn’t remember each other and we’d have some fighting dogs on our hands, but everything was fine. Both Annie and Maizey get in fights with every other dog, but they love each other. They picked right back up where they left off, like any best friends. 😉
They begged Aunt Gabi for food.
And played to exhaustion.
Allison & Jill.
Crystal and me.
Allison and me, at The Opera House. Quite the establishment.
I forced the pups to take a picture together before we all said our goodbyes. (Remember in elementary school when you got to have picture day with your best friends? 🙂 )
I’m so lucky to have all these ladies in my life. Growing up, I never felt like I had a core group of girlfriends and it’s a really nice thing to finally have as an adult. It was an absolutely perfect weekend and I’m sad it’s over. But I’m pretty sure we’ll have a girls’ weekend 2013 3.0 soon.

All your friends are beaaaaaautiful. And more importantly, it is just obvious how much yall love each other by the big, happy smiles! Sounds like a perfect weekend. And I just love that Maizey has a bestie. Especially a bestie that doesn’t like anyone else but her. Somehow that is suits her just right.
Yay! Thanks for havin us and for an awesome weekend!!! Xoxoxox
What a fun weekend it looks like you had! I wish I had more time for hanging out with friends this weekend, but unfortunately worked called. I will be adding that to my agenda next weekend!
Perfection! I am inspired to actually buy everyone the plane tickets and move on the girls weekend my friends and I have been “planning” on doing for far too long now!
Girls weekends can be so refreshing – it is so important to surround yourself with positive people that bring energy to your life. I went on a wine weekend with some of my girlfriends and we had a blast! I love scheduling time with my girls!
Found your page by googling pics of Boxers, my gorgeous one is also a girl call Maizey! They look like they have much in common (playing, eating, playing etc)
🙂

OMG that pic of the 2 dogs at the end of your post is hilarious! Too cute! 🙂
