Some brands just get it right—and Frank & Eileen has completely blown me away. From the first try-on, I was hooked. Honestly, their website photos do not do these pieces justice. The fit is next-level flattering in a way that doesn’t always translate online. As someone who’s petite (5’1”), I usually expect to have some sort of tailoring issues, but every piece I tried fit shockingly well—and I have tall friends who say the exact same thing.
It’s rare to find a brand that nails comfort, quality, and style, especially for moms who want to look polished without a ton of effort. Frank & Eileen takes wardrobe basics and doesn’t just make them better—they make them the best.
So let’s break it down: what makes this brand so expensive, which pieces I own (with honest ratings), what’s on my wishlist, and whether I really think it’s worth the splurge.
The short answer? You’re paying for premium fabrics, ethical production, and a flawless fit.
Here’s what you’re getting for the price:
Frank & Eileen was founded in 2009 by Audrey McLoghlin and named after her Irish grandparents. I love the subtle nods to Irish heritage, from the sheep inside the boxes to the tea sachets in every order. (And since visiting Ireland was my favorite trip ever, I love the Irish roots even more.) What started as a mission to perfect the classic button-up shirt has evolved into a full lifestyle brand. Think polished but comfortable pieces you can wear for work, errands, travel, or chasing kids.
The brand’s sweet spot is elevated essentials—button-ups, pullovers, travel sets, and effortless dresses—all designed with flattering silhouettes and made from fabrics that feel good. Basically, anything you would wear to Europe. Their tagline is “easy-to-love classics,” and they truly deliver on that.

The Carmel travel set is the lounge set dreams are made of. It’s incredibly soft, easy to throw on, and makes you feel put-together even when you’re exhausted on a red-eye flight or running late for school pickup. I wear this constantly, and if you’re pairing it with sneakers, I shared my favorite white ones here. It’s hard to even categorize it as a lounge set since it looks and feels so much nicer than my other lounge sets, most of which I don’t wear outside the house.

The Mary Shirtdress is the most flattering denim dress I’ve ever tried (while I have the white colorway, it’s still denim). It hugs the body just enough without clinging and gives serious bum-lifting magic. The “Famous Denim” fabric is soft but structured, and it’s not too thick for warm summer days. It’s a dress I would pack for Europe, the beach, or just a lunch date. This dress would be cute with sneakers, and I’ve shared how I style sneakers with dresses here.

This Silvo top is by far the most flattering button-down I’ve ever owned (and as someone who worked in Corporate America for 15 years, I’ve tried a lot of button-downs). It’s made from 100% Italian cotton and has an almost “cool” to the touch feel. It’s structured and crisp but not fussy in the slightest. The short length just grazes the hem of your pants or shorts for the “untuckable” look. However, you can still tuck it in if your bottoms are high-waisted. A white button-down is a must-have piece for a classic wardrobe.

This maxi dress shocked me. I thought it would overwhelm my petite frame but it was actually perfect. And after I shared it on Instagram, I heard from several women who said they own and love it too, so it’s clearly flattering on more than just petite frames. It was even the top maxi dress pick in my round-up of casual dresses for mom life. I like this dress best paired with neutral sandals.

This knit sweater is classic and cozy. I love the wide neckline and the way it layers over dresses or sits neatly at the waistband of jeans. The cotton is high quality and not too heavy. I love this paired with one of my favorite jean shorts in spring and summer in the mountains.

These wide-leg linen pants are next-level good. It’s so hard to find linen pants (or shorts, for that matter) that are flattering, especially in white. I absolutely love how these fit my frame. They’re full length on me (but remember, I’m 5’1″), so they’ll have a cropped fit on most others.

The Monterey Shirt is a little more casual than the Montecito, but just as versatile. I wear this one on cooler mornings with leggings or toss it over my shoulders for an easy layer that still feels intentional. It’s a bit heavier than the Montecito Sweater so I typically save this for the cooler months.

I wanted to love these pull-on jeans—and I think I still might, just not in the size I ordered. The fabric is amazing (of course), and the design has potential, but the fit felt a little too snug through the hips and thighs on me. I may give them another try in a bigger size.
Here are a few Frank & Eileen pieces I’m eyeing next.
In a word: yes. These are not impulse buys—they’re investment pieces. But if you’re tired of shirts that bunch, dresses that cling in the wrong places, or basics that fall apart after one season, Frank & Eileen will feel like a breath of fresh (Italian-linen-scented) air.
It’s the rare brand that seems to fits everyone—regardless of height or body type—and makes you feel confident, comfortable, and pulled together without trying too hard. If you’re a mom who wants to elevate her wardrobe with pieces that last, Frank & Eileen is 100% worth the splurge.
