Recently on Instagram, I was asked, “If you could only shop in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?” The answer to that question has changed a LOT over the past decade as my style has evolved. When I was living in Utah (I’m from there!), I was not as partial to the preppy, feminine brands that I saw on women in the South, but in the last few years, that’s what I’ve started gravitating towards. I guess that’s what living in the South for almost two decades will do to you.

So, the answer to that question now? Hands down, Tuckernuck. I love almost every single thing they carry. It’s impressive to me that their clothes are great for both 20-somethings and the 41-year-old mom like me. It’s classic, American, and feminine – everything I want my style to be.

Tuckernuck has become my go-to for my closet and gifts, and I have a handful of roundups on the blog:

The brand was started by Jocelyn Moore Gailliot, Madeline Moore, and September Rinnier in 2012. It has grown into huge online retailer since then. They source their women’s clothes from only the best designers, and I’ve been introduced to some of my favorite brands through them.

10 Best Tuckernuck Tops for Your Closet

In today’s post, I’m rounding up my favorite Tuckernuck blouses from their current selection. Funny enough, I always struggle to buy tops. Dresses feel like more “practical” purchases since they’re an entire outfit on their own, and since nice blouses are expensive (and only 1/2 of an outfit), I usually need a push to make the purchase.

But as a busy mom who has strong feelings about the best jeans and the best white sneakers, I need to invest in some breathable, yet cozy, feminine tops that I can wear during the cold months. Here’s what I’m loving lately.

Long Sleeve Piqué Puff-Sleeve Peggy Polo

I just got the Navy Long Sleeve Pique Holmes Boyfriend Polo, which has a boxy silhouette but still feels feminine. It gives that classic polo look that feels old school but still modern and polished, which is why I love it so much.

If you love this look, but want something a little more fitted, this puff sleeve polo is similar, just with a little more shoulder detail. Both are great options to add a little prep to your outfit (here are more preppy wardrobe staples) and work with jeans, skirts, or layered under sweaters. Throw on flats, loafers, or any of these cute white sneakers.

Black Lace Elodie Blouse

The Elodie blouse in black lace is one of those tops that says “I care about the details” without shouting it. The lace adds just the right amount of texture and elegance, making it ideal for date night, a work party or an evening out with friends. I like it best with trousers like these from Quince, but it can work with dark-wash denim too. Add a simple necklace and gold hoops and you’re ready.

Fair Isle Edna Sweater

This cozy Fair Isle Edna Sweater feels like a warm hug in a top. The pattern is charming without feeling overly festive, so it works beautifully across the season. I also like that the Edna sweater gives a nod to classic preppy styling with the spread collar. It looks great with jeans and loafers (these are the best loafers to wear with jeans) or booties too. (Here’s what booties to wear with jeans.)

If you’re on the hunt for a Fair Isle Sweater this year, here are more I love!

White Tie Front Bow Bea Blouse

The White Tie Front Bow Bea Blouse is pure charm. The bow detail adds a little drama but the clean white silhouette ensures it stays chic and timeless. This will work equally well in the summer or winter, so it’s a worthy investment. It’s perfect for a lunch date, a church gathering, or even a certain offices when paired with. Or, if you want to make a statement, pair it with straight leg leather pants and suede black booties.

Black Dupioni Trapunto Stitch Sofia Shirt

The Black Dupioni Trapunto Stitch Sofia Shirt is one of those tops that instantly makes you feel like you have your life together. The deep oxblood color is gorgeous for fall, and the dupioni fabric has the slightest sheen that dresses it up. I like it styled with wide-leg jeans like these or fitted jeans like the MOTHER Hustlers or Madewell Kick Out Crop.

I have this top in a seasonal spring pattern, pictured on me below in an XS, so you can see how it fits.

Dark Acorn Multi Nate Top

This Nate top in Dark Acorn Multi is a little hidden gem – the warm tones and subtle pattern are ideal for the fall to winter transition. What I love most is that it’s not overly bold, so it meshes beautifully with both neutrals and richer accents (think caramel bags, olive outerwear, taupe boots). It just feels easy and put-together, the kind of top you reach for when you want to look like you tried (but maybe didn’t). I like this top best with black kick-out jeans and loafers or kitten heels. Tuck it in and belt!

Black Ruffle Neck Bouvier Blouse

If I had to pick one blouse that will instantly elevate your whole look, this little Black Ruffle-Neck Bouvier Blouse from Tuckernuck is it. It’s the perfect combination of femininity and sophistication. The subtle ruffle detail at the neckline adds a soft, feminine feel while the black base keeps it polished and versatile. I love the effortless transition of this top from morning meetings to cocktails with friends – just swap your flats for heels, add a colorful clutch, and you’re done. Pair it with tailored pants or a denim jean, and you’re a head turner without really trying.

Sandstone Genevieve Cashmere Wool Blend Crewneck Sweater

This Cashmere Wool Crewneck Sweater is one of those forever pieces you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again. (This easily fits into a winter capsule wardrobe.) The sandstone color is the perfect warm neutral — it’s soft, understated, and flattering with just about everything. It’s made from a luxurious wool-cashmere blend, and the fit is relaxed but polished. It looks just as cute with tailored pants as it does half-tucked into your favorite denim – here’s mine.

Khaki + Red Stripe Swiftie Rugby Polo

I’m not usually a rugby polo girl, but the Khaki and Red Stripe Rugby Polo has totally won me over by combining three of my favorite things: Tuckernuck, stripes, and a collar. The color combo feels fresh for the holiday season (especially the beautiful pop of red), and the thicker knit makes it cozy without being heavy. It’s so cute with any of these wide-leg jeans, or I even love the idea of pairing it with my new corduroy wide-leg jeans from Spanx.

my favorite white jeans for Saturday brunch or errands or half-tucked into a skirt for a casual athleisure outfit.

Green Ceci Embroidery Long Sleeve Top

Last but certainly not least – the Tuckernuck Green Ceci Embroidery Long Sleeve Top. The green hue is stunning (especially this time of year), and the delicate floral embroidery is both playful and romantic. The cropped length is flattering (we petites appreciate that) and it’s just a fun top to throw on with jeans or dress up with trousers for a more elevated event.

That’s all I have today, but I’ll update this post when I spot other must-have Tuckernuck tops while I’m browsing.
