Tuckernuck Sweaters for Fall

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year. It’s my favorite running weather, I love the leaves changing, Thomas was born in the fall, Tommy and I got married in the fall…you get it. I just love everything about it. And I also love transitioning my closet for fall. I switch out my summer dresses, sandals, and shorts for jeans, layers, and knitwear. I LOVE me some sweater weather.

In fact, I have a few favorite retailers when it comes to sweater shopping, but currently, Tuckernuck is top of the list. I love that they carry timeless styles that are still very on-trend. I also appreciate that they have a wide price range too, so I can find special splurges (like these heels) and great everyday basics (like this dress).

In this post, I’m rounding up my favorite sweaters from Tuckernuck’s current selection. Hopefully you’ll find something you love for your closet this fall! If you need dresses, see my Tuckernuck picks here. And if you need jewelry, see my picks for earrings here!

Alrighty, let’s jump in.

12 Tuckernuck Sweaters

Ivory Americana Sweater

This off-white sweater was on my wishlist for MONTHS, and I’m so excited about it. It’s just as flattering and as high quality as it looks (even better, perhaps?). I specifically love the medium weight fabric it is because it’s something I plan to wear year round, not just this fall and winter. (It will be super cute with jean shorts during the transition temperatures!) I’m very happy that the flag is sewn into the sweater versus printed on, too. It’s loose-fitting, making it the perfect layer for on top of a t-shirt. I love that you can easily roll the sleeves without them getting too tight on your arms. The material is 100% cotton, and it’s perfect in every way.

I ordered my usual size XS and it’s pretty large on me (5’1″) so I’d size down if you’re on the fence about sizing.

Outfit details

Navy Stripe Bexley Sweater

I’ve always loved stripes, and it’s making me so happy that they’re trending again this fall. I love the classic crewneck style of this sweater with a boxier, longer fit. It has super cute gold buttons on the sides (that allows you to open and adjust the sides), and the hem is a cute, high-low cut. It’s 100% wool, so it’s perfect for cooler fall and winter days.

Ecru Royal Peacock Sweater

There’s something SO classic about a sweater with cable knit detailing. I think I’ll always be drawn to this style. I love that this is simple, but a different take on traditional cable knit too. It’s 75% wool, so it’ll be a great option for cooler days. The length is very traditional, but I’ll likely tuck the front of the sweater into jeans since I have a short torso. If you’re taller, it’s likely a perfect length to leave untucked.

This also comes in a Serene Blue Peacock color, and I love both. The tan (ecru) is more my taste, but both are beautiful. The light blue reminds me of the coast–something I’d imagine I’d wear in Charleston.

Navy Cobble Hill Sweater

I’ve always loved Dudley Stephens pullovers but have never gotten one myself. It’s on my list this year. The high, funnel-neck is very cozy and relaxed, but VERY chic. It’s perfect for a day when you don’t want to get all the dressed up since this pullover is long, and will cover your bottom in leggings. I love all of the color options.  The material is a non-iron vello fleece, which feels laid back yet not sloppy at all.

Greenbriar Bexley Sweater

I am SO into this bright green color. It’s the same style as the Navy Stripe Bexley Sweater from above, but in green. Like the striped version, it has a classic crewneck style. The gold buttons really pop on this green color, which I also love. It’s 100% wool, making it a great for both cooler fall days and winter.

Cornflower Quilted Polo Henley Sweater

This henley style sweater is such a fun top for fall and winter. I love the slouchy sleeves, gold buttons, and the cute, polished (but oversized and fun) collar. The quilted pattern is fun too! This is a great option for jeans, but would work well thrown over your shoulders for an extra layer, also! It’s 100% cotton, which means it’s super comfortable too.

Exclusive Beige Carlita Sweater

This Exclusive Beige Carlita Sweater is a fall staple. The classic color is ideal paired with dark wash denim and an olive green jacket like this one I have by Barbour. I love that it’s slightly cropped and has a boxy shape. So flattering!

Navy Rosemary Eyelet Knit Top

This sweater is GORGEOUS! It has the most feminine, subtle eyelet lace on the neckline, and at the ends of the sleeves. I love that it’s fitted since it feels a little dressier than some other sweaters I have. You could easily tone it down with looser-fitting jeans, however. This top is 100% cotton, which I’m always a fan of for the sake of comfort, but you’ll want to pair with a jacket on cooler days.

Black and White Updated Corbet Reversible Pullover

This Marine Layer pullover is such a great athleisure and casual option for fall and winter. It’s reversible, so you have the option of black or white, depending on your outfit. I love that the collar stands on its own, and the placket has a snap closure. The split hem makes it super cute for leggings too! Marine Layer’s clothing is so incredibly soft!

Cocoa Park Slope

I wanted to call out another Dudley Stephen’s pullover I’m loving. This one is cropped, which is a great option for pairing with jeans. I prefer a shorter, cropped top when I’m wearing jeans or trousers (vs. leggings), so this is perfect. The funnel-neck is chic and playful, and it comes in a ton of colors. I love the cocoa color the most, though!

Rouge Color Block Sweater

This sweater is so bright and cheerful! I find it can be somewhat hard to find cheerful, colorful prints when it comes to fall pieces, but this is just perfect. This style is inspired by vintage ski style, and has the most fun oversized sleeves and color-contrasting cuffs.

White Cinched Quarter-Zip Pullover

This is on my fall and winter wishlist. This oversized pullover has a drawstring adjustable waistline that I’m loving. It has a stand-up collar (I’m a big fan of that too), and I love that it has extra length to cover your bum in leggings. Did I mention it’s made of a quick dry and wicking material? Really obsessed, honestly.

I’ll continue to add more sweaters to this post as I see them! Like I said, I love me some Tuckernuck! .
