12 Best Tuckernuck Sandals
My style has changed a bit over the last decade since I moved from Utah to North Carolina and also as I got a little older. It’s natural that your style evolves, not only with the trends, but it may also change if you move (different regions have different styles!), your preferences change, and as you age (you may feel more comfortable in different styles as you age). That certainly happened to me! In the last few years, I’ve especially started to love styles that are colorful, feminine, and even slightly preppy. And since I live somewhere MUCH more humid than Utah, my style has adapted to fit that too.
Since shopping and sourcing items for readers is part of my full-time gig, I spend lots of time scrolling through websites and scouring new arrivals to find great dresses, jeans, tops, accessories, and especially shoes for myself and to recommend to my blog readers (YOU!).
One of my ALL time favorite fashion retailers is Tuckernuck. I discovered Tuckernuck only a few years ago, but I absolutely LOVE so much on their website. Tuckernuck was started in 2012 by Jocelyn Moore Gailliot, Madeline Moore, and September Rinnier in a Georgetown garage. The women started the company while hunting for unique gifts, clothes and accessories for the many weddings, baby showers, and dinner parties they were attending and they wanted an easier place to shop (specifically online) for things since it was taking them hours to find what they were look for!
I’ve found that Tuckernuck does make shopping SO easy since the online boutique is curated SO well. So well that that I want to order nearly everything they sell! They make shopping so much easier because they only carry the best items from the best brands. They have cute items for hostess and wedding gifts too.
My mindset when shopping from other retailers is “Would Tuckernuck carry this?” and if no, I don’t buy it. I’m serious! It truly helps me create a wardrobe I love by keeping a curated approach in that way! They have sourced things so well that I know I can trust everything on their website is in style and even cutting edge, but also still timeless and classic. See my current favorite dresses from Tuckernuck here!
In this post I’m rounding up my favorite Tuckernuck sandals from this season. I hope it’s helpful!
Before we get into each sandal I’m loving, I wanted to note Tuckernuck’s generous return policy. You can return anything from Tuckernuck for free with in 30 days!
This pair of Schutz heeled sandals is SUCH a great find for spring and summer! I love the natural fiber material and the height. The run a little narrow (this brand always does), so I’m going to have to return them, but if you have a narrow foot, you’ll LOVE these.
These platform sandals are STUNNING. I own one other pair of shoes by this brand and I wish I could accurately describe how comfortable they are. They’re pricey, yes, but the quality is truly unmatched.
I ordered The French Sole Exclusive Cognac Leather Alibi Sandals earlier in the summer and they are SO cute. They look exactly like the Hermes Oran sandal, but the Tuckernuck pair is much more affordable.
Loved around the world, French Sole shoes are classic and loved for good reason, This pair is easy to slip on with casual outfits like jean shorts like this, and they also look great with casual dresses like this!
I ended up sending these back because I didn’t need another slide sandal, but they’re a great pair for someone with a narrow foot! The leather is stiff when they first arrive, but give them a little time to wear in and they’ll last you forever. If you love the Hermes Oran slide but want a more affordable option, these are PERFECT. They also come in white.

These Light Cognac My Sandals are both simple and feminine, which is how I would describe my typical style. I love a slide sandal because it’s SO easy to wear with jeans, shorts, dresses, you name it. And I also love that slides feel casual, which is how I dress most days. I love the cognac leather (however, I think this is a lighter, creamier color than true cognac).
All Flattered shoes (that’s the brand!) are designed in Stockholm and handmade by craftsmen in the south of Europe. Flattered tried to focus on sustainability, quality, and style. I’d really love to try more shoes from this brand because I love a lasting, well-made shoe.
One detail that I LOVE about these sandals is the contrast stitching and bow. It feels unique but subtle. I also love a square toe because I have wide feet and that’s typically better for me. I would pair these sandals with jeans shorts and a cute top as seen here or here, a casual dress like this, or longer jeans and a blouse like this.
These are priced pretty well at $159, and they’d last forever since they’re real leather! In fact, shoes like this tend to get better over time.
These Natural Del Nal Sandals are another favorite of mine and this time because of the platform. I’m 5’1, so any shoe that has height and is easy to wear is a great shoes for me. I’ve had a few pairs of Mattise shoes and I’m always happy with them! I currently have a pair super similar to these, but I love how these have a large single strap that you can slide your foot right in, and I also like that the platform goes all the way across the shoe.
In the South, you see a lot of natural fibers in shoes (and even in home decor, actually!). I love how beachy these are while still looking high-end and elevated. The jute material is really great for casual outfits, and I pair sandals like this with jeans (seen here) and dresses like this one. Since these are casual, I’d even wear them with shorts as long as the shorts weren’t too short! These are the ultimate style and comfort sandals.
A huge perk of these sandals is the price ($58)!
The Dark Sand Jackson Sandal by Loeffler Randall is one of the cutest simple sandals EVER. I love the classic leather and the fun braided strap. I specifically love that these sandals only have a single strap, which makes them feel even more feminine. These are a flat sandal made from dark nappa leather. Loeffler Randall makes beautiful timeless shoes, so while they are an investment, you will wear and love them for years!
They can easily be dressed up or down, which is important to me since they are incredibly pricey ($225). I love knowing they can be worn almost daily for that price.
Loeffler Randall makes the world’s CUTEST shoes and the brand is known for its attention of quality and craftsmanship. They also set the trends every year with unique styles. The brand is female-founded which I also love.
Let’s talk about the Exclusive Foster Stud Sandals from Tuckernuck. These look almost identical to the Valentino Garavani Rockstud Caged 60mm Slide Sandals. In fact, I like heel on the Tuckernuck pair BETTER!
I love designer shoes, and I’ve always been drawn to studded heels when they’re tasteful. And you know what I say– if Tuckernuck carries them, they are my style. These are such a classic, iconic and loved style (truly loved around the world), and the French Sole brand is also known for comfort. These are the perfect heels for almost every single warm weather dress in your closet. They’d also be great with jeans and a blouse (like this outfit) for a night out. You might think that these are too trendy to buy but studded heels have been in for years and I don’t foresee them going out anytime soon!
These Natural Cork Noles Heels are an absolute staple for a summer closet. If you don’t own a pair of neutral summer sandals with a heel, this is the pair to purchase. I have multiple pairs of Dolce Vita shoes and I’m always happy with them! They’re comfortable, high quality, and still affordable which is a perfect combo!
This shoe has the most fun chunky round heel, and the two straps makes them comfortable and easy to wear all day or night. They can be dressed up or down (the cork makes them super versatile) and they’re subtle enough to wear with pattern and color.
Tuckernuck shows their models wearing this dress with these heels here, which I love. I truly feel like these could be the only pair of heeled sandals you owned and you’d be set for the entire summer. They’re just timeless shoes!
I especially love these sandals because they’re priced well. These sandals are $100, and they’ll last for a good while.
Another pair of Dolce Vita sandals caught my eye while was browsing: The Taupe Pascoe Heel. The Taupe Pascoe Heel feels a little bit more transitional than the pair above because of the snake-embossed leather-like material. Since these aren’t made with natural fibers, they’ll work well into the fall.
I wanted to highlight another pair of Matisse sandals that Tuckernuck carries since I have an almost identical pair. The Exclusive Natural Ocean Ave Sandal is very similar to the Matisse pair I linked above, but these have two straps with is some people’s preference.
The Natural Ocean Ave Sandals has a cute braided raffia material and a block heel. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day! These are a platform shoe, but because of the chunky heel, they’re a little bit dressier than the platform slides above. See how I wear the two-strap style with a monochromatic look here.
These are around the same price as the platform pair linked above, at $65.
I haven’t personally purchased a pair of espadrilles, but my assistant Hannah has them and LOVES them, so I wanted to include them as a cute option if they’re your style. These heeled Ivory Carina Espadrilles are the sweetest summer heel that feels casual enough to wear throughout the day, but elevates your outfit a touch.
The mixture of jute heel, canvas material for the details and the ankle ties feels very french countryside. Keep in mind you do have to lace these each time you wear them, so if you’re looking for an easy slip on option, these may not be the right pair for you.
I like the ivory color best because you could wear it with almost every color. I’d pair these with dresses or skirts for an easy summer heel. They’d be darling with my favorite smocked mini dress.
The last pair I’ll highlight is this Pink Martini Moses Sandals by Freedom Moses. These are a super casual beach or pool slide that you will be SO glad you purchased. You know how we always wish crocs were actually cute because they’re so easy to clean and wear in the water? This is our answer!
These waterproof sandals are ideal for throwing into your beach bag, wearing on the pool deck, or using for gardening in the back yard. You can hose them down as soon as you’re finished wearing them, and throw them right back in to your beach bag.
And talk about COMFORT! Tuckernuck carries these in a ton of colors, but I’m partial to the pink.
