15 Best Tuckernuck Earrings

As I’ve gotten older, my style has changed a bit. I used to prefer statement necklaces and then I went through a phase with statement earrings. And now, I’ve landed on simple, delicate pieces that I wear everyday. However, from time to time, I definitely like to mix in some fun earrings to complete an outfit, especially for special events, date night or girls night!

Part of my fashion evolution is related to moving from Utah to North Carolina, which have very different styles, but I also think that as we get older, our style and taste evolves. I’ve started to veer more towards preppier, feminine patterns and styles. One of the brands I’ve come to love over the last couple years is Tuckernuck. I discovered Tuckernuck only a few years ago, but I absolutely LOVE everything they carry. The brand feels so classic and American (which is how I hope someone would describe my closet!).

Tuckernuck was started in 2012 by Jocelyn Moore Gailliot, Madeline Moore, and September Rinnier in a Georgetown garage. The friends started Tuckernuck while hunting for gifts, clothes and accessories for all of the weddings, baby showers, and dinner parties they were attending. They wanted an easier place to shop (specifically online) for things since it was taking them hours to find what they were look for! They’ve done a fantastic job of sourcing products from brands they love, and I rarely see something on their website that I don’t like, honestly.

Tuckernuck carries all sorts of things: clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories, hostess gifts, you name it. And my shopping philosophy is now: “Would Tuckernuck carry it?” when I’m browsing other stores. I’ve already written two Tuckernuck roundups on the blog: dresses and sandals – and today I’m rounding up my favorite earrings.

15 Best Tuckernuck Earrings

Earrings are definitely a personal thing. All jewelry is, for that matter. Tommy has gotten me very special pieces over the years, and those are always the items I choose to wear first, as opposed to jewelry I buy on a whim. However, like I mentioned above, I do love statement earrings for fun dinners or celebrations, and I also love a fun accessory to “finish” an outfit. Tuckernuck is always where I check first when I’m hunting for those pieces.

In today’s post, I’m sharing some of my favorite earrings from Tuckernuck’s current selection.

Best Tuckernuck Earrings

Cult Gaia Brushed Brass Gigi Earring

The first earrings for this post are a pair I just purchased. I’m SO excited about this these Brushed Brass Gigi Earrings. They’re small enough to wear frequently, but also special enough to wear with dressier outfits.  They’re on the pricier side for earrings at $158, but they aren’t as pricey as fine jewelry. These would make an amazing gift at a great price point. Cult Gaia is known for making their pieces with the intention of making it feel like you’re wearing art, and I love that these aren’t frilly, but still a statement.

They’re made with 100% brass and have a unique ridged design that widens at the edges and thins in the center to create an hourglass-like shape. They have post backs, so they’re easy to put on and take off.

I imagine myself wearing these a few times a week. While I probably wouldn’t go to the effort of putting them on while working from home (and while a toddler could grab them on my ears), I’d wear them with almost everything for dinners and nights out. I’ll also plan to pack them for the LTK conference I’m attending this fall.

Cult Gaia Gold Brea Small Rhinestone Earrings

This pair of earrings is another Cult Gaia find that I’m loving. These Gold Brea Small Rhinestone Earrings are quite the statement, but they feel so timeless compared to other wild, colorful statement earrings out there. The shape and style feels very traditional and classic but the rhinestones add the sparkle and fun of a 2022 statement earring. And maybe part of the reason they  traditional to me is because they’re actually clip-ons! They look like your stylish great grandmother’s statement earrings but with a flare, don’t they?

And while they may look slightly heavy, they’re actually light enough to wear all night. You HAVE to click through to see what they look like on the model. They’re stunning.

Very Small Gold Thick Hoop Earrings

Let’s talk about hoops. I truly think they’re one of the most classic styles of earrings you can have, second only to heirloom diamond studs, of course ;). This pair of mini thick gold hoops are made by Tuckernuck, and they’re affordable at $38. They’re 0.5 inches, so a very simple hoop that almost feels like a stud. You can get away with wearing these every single day. They’re made with made with a shiny 14K gold plated brass and hypoallergenic titanium post backings. I just bought an almost identical pair from Gorjana before I saw this or else I would have snagged these while I was shopping the Tuckernuck sale!

Small Gold Thick Hoop Earrings

These small gold hoops are also made by Tuckernuck! These hoops are only $48 and the perfect everyday earring. They’re a big bigger than the “Very Small” earrings (obviously) so if you want something that stands out more but is still comfortable for everyday wear, these are it! These have a post back closure, and they back post is made with hypoallergenic titanium. The earrings are made with a shiny 14K gold plated brass.

Gold Large Hoop Earrings

And while we’re on the hoops train, let’s talk about these classic large hoops, also by Tuckernuck. This pair is thinner than the hoops above, and $10 cheaper. These earrings are super chic, and a very cute way to dress up any outfit. I believe gold hoops should be in every girl’s jewelry box – I have two pairs of hoops, both small and large! These are also made with a post back closure that’s hypoallergenic titanium, and they’re made with shiny 14k gold plated brass. They’re nickel-free too, if that’s an issue for you.

I have similar gold hoops from Gorjana that I’ll probably replace with these because the way the Gorjana ones fall (the hoop faces forwards instead of running parallel to my face), I almost yank them out regularly when I’m brushing my hair back. YIKES!

Gold Luca Hoops

I promise these are the last hoops I talk about. The Gold Luca Hoops by Mignonne Gavigan are a great classic earring for fall closet. They’re a two-in-one style so you can wear both hoops together or remove the bottom hoop for a simple option! These are actually the smallest of all the hoops I’ve linked if you were to wear them without the bottom hoop.

These earrings use an imitation rhodium plated brass and stainless steel post. These are unique and so beautiful! I can picture my late grandmother, my mom and me all happily wearing these!

White Shark Tooth Earrings

Another statement earring by Tuckernuck, heyo! These White Shark Tooth Earrings are final sale, but you don’t need to return them, I promise. I love that these are large and make an impact visually, but the material is casual (made with a lightweight acetate), which dresses them down ever so slightly. These earrings use a post back closure made of hypoallergenic surgical steel, and they’re nickel-free.

While I wouldn’t wear these every-single day, I do think I’d reach for them quite often whenever I wore a dress that matched (which would likely be very often since they’re a neutral color!). You can’t beat $38 either. I just ordered them while they’re on sale and I can’t WAIT to get them! You also need to click through to see these on the model – they’re so fun!

Pearl Cluster Earrings

I’ve had my eyes on these pearl earrings from Tuckernuck for months now. Every time I scroll past them I stop for a second. They’re truly some of the prettiest earrings ever, and they’d be the PERFECT earrings for a bride. They’re definitely a statement, but not so much so that you couldn’t wear them with jeans and a tee. I’d say they’re a subtle statement and a classic addition to your collection. And in the south, pearls are “casual”! I wouldn’t have believed that when I lived in Utah.

These studs are 1 inch in size, so they do cover your earlobe and then some. They’re made with fresh water pearls, have a post back closure, and disk earring back. The post is made of hypoallergenic titanium, and the earrings are nickel free.

Pink Raffia Lantern Earrings

Let’s talk color, shall we? I do love a pop of color with earrings, especially when the color is bold. This pair of pink raffia lantern earrings are great because the color is fun and playful, but the shape is simple and easy to wear with lots of outfits. The raffia material also makes these lightweight, even though they’re large. They’re under $60.

These earrings have a hypoallergenic surgical steel post back closure and they’re nickel free.

Black Raffia Geo Lantern Earrings

These Black Raffia Geo Lantern Earrings are just slightly different from the pink pair above. This black pair is perfect for all black outfits, or even something fun like a cheetah print dress or loafers. These add texture and dimension to your outfit without clashing with prints and colors. And I love that they’re lightweight so they can be worn to a fun lunch with friends or even a black tie gala. These earrings have a hypoallergenic surgical steel post back closure and they’re nickel free. I really should have bought these when I shopped the sale and now I’m regretting that I didn’t, ha!

Dark Green Quartz Bay Studs

If you’re looking for a fall stud to wear lots this season, I’ve got the earrings for you. These quartz bay studs by Lizzie Fortunato are perfect fall earrings that can be worn daily. They come in a dark green (my preference) and a deep peachy, orange hue. These studs are simple, but the gold bezel setting elevates them just a bit. I love the subtle pop of color that doesn’t overpower your outfit. I could see these being worn with denim and t-shirts all fall long.

These earrings have a post back closure with gold plated brass surrounding the green quartz. Since these earrings are made with real quartz, it’s recommended that they’re stored in a dry, cool place and not exposed to extreme humidity very often. Maybe not the earrings to take with you to the beach, but definitely perfect for everyday wear this fall.

Lilia Ear Climber

These Lilia Ear Climber earring by ASHA are so unique and cute. The image of the earrings on their own is deceiving and made me think these were large, but in reality, they’re small, everyday stud earrings, which made them all the more cute to me! (Click here to see them on the model.) I’ve never owned earrings in a “climber” style (meaning earrings that go up the side of your earlobe), but this pair makes me want to. These earrings are crafted from mother of pearl in a chic botanical-inspired silhouette that feels feminine and girly, but also slightly understated because of the size.

ASHA founded by Ashley McCormick while she was a senior at Georgetown University. Her jewelry beautiful and sophisticated while feeling feminine and fun at the same time. These would make a great gift.

Gold Zach Earrings

Got a black tie or cocktail event coming up? These Petit Moments earrings are SO cool. I loved them when I saw them on the model and then loved them even more when I saw the $25 price tag. With a knot at the top that dangles into twisted chain, these earrings feel very chic and perfect for a fancy event. I’d wear them with my hair down and curled, paired with a little black dress or gown.

14K Gold Heart Studs

I loved these earrings instantly when I saw them online. The heart-shaped style is fun, feminine, and sweet, and the center diamond makes them very special. These are made from 14k gold (with a center pave diamond of course) and add a little sparkle for your everyday wardrobe. I love that they’re absolutely TINY! Such a fun earring to wear everyday and a really good gift idea for a special occasion.

I could see these being a sweet gift for a college or high-school graduate. They’re definitely fine jewelry, but easy to wear daily and take care of.

Diamond Emerald Cut Studs

I’ve saved this pair for last since they’re in a class of their own. These Diamond Emerald Cut Studs by Theodosia are beauties. They’re 0.75 carats total, and bezel set in 14k gold. If you’ve been hunting for a pair of diamond studs, these are so unique and beautiful. The size is small enough to be worn daily with jeans and a t-shirt, dresses, skirts, even athleisure outfits. The gold setting also feels perfect for fall (and the rest of your life, ha!).

The brand is located in Charleston, SC and owned by designer Jenny Thompson, in case you’re nearby and want to see them in person.

Bottom Line

Like I mentioned above, earrings are personal, as is all jewelry. While I’ll always prefer to wear things Tommy has given me, I also love having fun accessories on hand for events, special outfits, or just to change things up. Tuckernuck is my go-to place for all fashion needs, and I really appreciate that they carry a range of prices. I love that they carry such amazing designers and also have their own line at a cheaper price point. It’s fun to see how well they’ve curated their selection of high-end and low-end pieces in a way that makes you think they all belong in the same closet. But that’s just Tuckernuck for you. They’ve got the best selection around.

I hope this roundup helps you narrow down your earring search. You can see my favorite dress from Tuckernuck in this post, or see my favorite sandals from their website in this post. While the sale has likely ended before you read this post, I’ve also rounded up my favorite items from Tuckernuck’s Friends and Family sale here, and they’re likely still available, just not on sale.

I ordered a few of these earrings during the sale I just mentioned, and once they come in I’ll snap a few photos of them so you can see them in real life.
