The weather has been all over the place the past few weeks. Blazing hot. Cooler. Rainy. Perfect. And I’m loving it all. This week is especially nice – high 50s in the mornings and high 70s/low 80s in the day and evenings. The perfect weather is especially nice for running since it’s motivating me to get out the door; my best running friend Kate just moved to Florida so I don’t have her for accountability! π
Here’s what I’ve been wearing latey! Lots of dresses & skirts & shorts. People rave about fall style being the best, but I vote for spring and summer fashion. π It’s just so easy!

I jumped at a chance to wear my chambray when we had a cooler day a few weeks ago. Β Also, I’m OBSESSED with my new sunglasses. These Raybans are the first nice pair of sunglasses I’ve ever owned and I’m so glad I finally splurged. They fit my small face perfectly and are really comfortable. And I’ve been responsible and keeping them in their case rather than throwing them in my purse like I’ve always done with cheap pairs. π
And fun fact about these jeans: they were a very well-researched purchase. Last year I ordered TEN pairs of white jeans, varying from $30-$250, to find a pair I liked. (We don’t have great shopping in Winston, so ordering from Nordstrom saves me with their free returns.) I have NEVER found white jeans flattering before, and I finally have a pair I like. These are Madewell and I LOVE them. Woot!

I love this Vineyard Vines dress! They have such cute stuff this summer! It’s such an easy outfit and very lightweight for summer. I had it tailored to be a little shorter since I’m so petite (5’1″) and it was hitting mid-knee. Not cute. It’s amazing what a little tailoring can do.
I looooove this dress. When I posted on Instagram, I mentioned that I’ve found Lilly Pulitzer dresses fit my curves very well, which shocked me a little bit. I have very muscular quads and glutes and their dresses fit like a dream! Others commented and said they’ve found the same thing.
This is pretty much my summer uniform: shorts & a t-shirt. So comfy and easy. (I find J.Crew shorts run a little large. I wear a 0 in the J.Crew shorts and I’m typically a 2.)

Again, another Lilly Pulitzer dress I love!

There is something just so comfortable about shorts & a long-sleeved top. I’m grateful when the stars align (i.e. it’s not too humid) to wear this combo. π

I really love yellow in the summer, especially when my hair is blonder. I feel like it makes me look a little tanner, which is nice, since I’m compulsive about wearingΒ sunscreenΒ and I don’t use self tanners. (The ingredients freak me out.)

And because I always get asked, here’s how I curl my hair!

I love your style! Especially all the pops of color. I need to do more of that.
Thanks lady! π
