After I finished filming the try-on for this Vuori review, I didn’t change my outfit. I stayed in the AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare, went to the office, and worked on this post from my walking pad.
And considering I don’t like athleisure, that’s saying something – it just always feels sloppy… like I’m headed to or just leaving the gym. But Vuori feels much nicer than workout clothes…if anything, it leans more toward real clothes than workout clothes, both in fit and fabric. That’s not to say you can’t work out in it, but more to say it’s going to be much nicer than your typical leggings and pullovers, which happily surprised me.
So I guess that’s the TLDR version – Vuori fits shockingly well, and the fabrics are what really make it next level.

For this review, I tried eleven pieces, including three fall layers. I’ve listed the size I ordered in every piece and how the Short lengths fit. Overall, it gets an A- from me (more on my full verdict near the end of the post).
The leggings don’t run small, but the tops seem to run large. I’m 5’1″ and a 32D, and I ordered mostly smalls, with an XS in the leggings, the half zip, and the jacket.
| Piece | Size | Length | How it fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| AllTheFeels™ Legging | XS | Short | Almost too short… I’d go full length |
| AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare | S | Short | Better fit than the legging, less pulling up |
| Halo Easy Wideleg Pant | S | Short | Perfect through the waist and the right length |
| Villa Short | S | — | Perfect length, no liner |
| AllTheFeels™ Bra | S | — | Comfortable, good coverage |
| Energy Classic Tee | S | — | Perfect length, loose fit |
| Energy Top | S | — | Armholes too big; an XS might fit better |
| Pose Plyo Tank | S | — | Built-in bra needs more shape; sizing down might help |
| Restore Oversized Half Zip | XS | — | Sized down from my usual small and happy I did |
| Émilie Cashmere Oversized Rib Crew | S | — | I wish I’d gone down to an XS |
| Canyon Insulated Sporty Jacket | XS | — | Sleeves a little long; size down if you’re on the fence |
If you’re between sizes, I’d size down on the tanks and the jacket, but bottoms seem true to size. The two oversized pieces run big on purpose, so decide how roomy you want them before you order.
Three of my bottoms are the Short length: the AllTheFeels™ Legging, the AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare, and the Halo Easy Wideleg Pant. Vuori’s Short length is for 5’4″ and under, and it’s generally about 2″ shorter than the regular length (it can vary by about half an inch depending on the piece).
The Short leggings felt almost too short on me, and I’m only 5’1″, so I think I’d be happier with the full length. On the Slim Flare and Halo Wideleg, however, the length was perfect.

I ordered: S, Short, Black · Price: $118 · Shop the Halo Easy Wideleg Pant
These pants might be the best of the whole haul since they’re just so comfortable and flattering. They’re wide-leg, but since they’re fitted through the thighs, they don’t look sloppy. They have a nice wide waistband, too. They’re the perfect travel pants because they don’t look like PJs (I’m not into sweatpants when traveling) – I’m actually wearing them right now, while flying to California.
I wore them with a slim-fitting black tee and a cardigan over my shoulders to look a little more polished while flying, but they’re comfortable enough to wear as sweatpants for lounging. They also work well for school drop-off and running errands afterward. Basically, they seem to do it all.

I ordered: XS, Short, Black · Price: $110 · Shop the AllTheFeels™ Legging
These are super flattering through the booty; I like the amount of compression, and the fabric is super soft without feeling like it’s going to immediately stretch out. They don’t feel like workout leggings, and since I struggle with athleisure feeling sloppy, that’s a major pro to me.
I did feel like I had to pull them up a little bit, but perhaps that’s a sizing issue? I also think I’d be happier with the full length, since the Short was almost too short on me.
(If you want to wear them for more than workouts, my what to wear with leggings style guide has you covered.)

I ordered: S, Short, Blue Coast · Price: $118 · Shop the AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare
These were very comfortable and shockingly flattering, and I actually think these fit better than the AllTheFeels™ Legging. I don’t typically go for a flare style, but since the flare is very subtle, I didn’t mind it. I love how they hug my thighs and glutes, but I don’t feel like I’m being squeezed in them.
I also don’t feel like I have to pull them up as much as I do with regular leggings. I’m not sure I’d work out in them, but I’d go on a walk in them, and I might even try to get away with wearing them to golf.

I ordered: S, Black · Price: $74 · Shop the Villa Short
I’m very picky about workout shorts, and these are nearly perfect. I like that they’re not too short with a 3-inch inseam length; they have a wide waistband that doesn’t dig in, not too tight in the booty, and they have pockets. Plus, they look good.
I do wish they had a liner (I prefer one for working out), but that’s a personal preference, and honestly they probably wouldn’t be as flattering if they did have one.
I ordered: S, Black · Price: $58 · Shop the AllTheFeels™ Bra
At first it didn’t seem like anything overly special. But the longer I wore it, the more I forgot about it, which is a good sign of a great bra. It is very comfortable, but it still covers my larger chest size well. It’s not too loose or too tight, which I appreciate since I usually have a hard time with low-impact bras: they feel too loose, and if I size down, they’re too tight. This one is just right. I wouldn’t run in it, but it will be great for lifting, Pilates, or walking.

I ordered: S, Blue Coast · Price: $58 · Shop the Energy Classic Tee
10 out of 10, no notes.
I love a loose tee, and this one fits exactly how I want it to. The body and the sleeves are both the perfect length, and because it’s so lightweight, it doesn’t stick to my bra, which I appreciate.

I ordered: S, French Roast · Price: $54 · Shop the Energy Top
The Energy Top drapes nicely and has a high neck I really like, so it was so close to being a favorite. The armholes are what keep it from making the cut for me, because they’re big and cut long. I tried a small, so if you’re between sizes, an extra small might fix it.

I ordered: S, French Roast · Price: $68 · Shop the Pose Plyo Tank
I’m not usually a fan of tanks with built-in bras, but I wanted to try one, and this one is good, just not a 10 for me. I like the length and the neckline, and the armholes fit a lot better than the Energy Top’s. I had high hopes this could change my mind about built-in bras, but unfortunately, it did not. It doesn’t give me much shape or coverage, and as a 32D who breastfed two kids for two years each, I need a little more lift. Sizing down might help, but I don’t think it’s the most flattering tank for bigger-chested women.

I ordered: XS, Pale Grey Heather · Price: $128 · Shop the Restore Oversized Half Zip
This half zip is incredibly soft and a nice medium weight, and I like that it’s mostly cotton (66% organic cotton and 34% polyester). The collar stands up, but it stays low enough that it isn’t up in my face. I usually buy a small, but since it’s called oversized, I sized down to an XS, and I’m happy I did. I like this for lounging around the house, but it’s also nice enough to wear with jeans.

I ordered: S, Pale Grey Heather · Price: $278 · Shop the Émilie Cashmere Oversized Rib Crew
This sweater is super flattering and incredibly soft, and I like that I can dress it up or down. It’s made with 60% Cashmere (Recycled), 40% Cashmere, so the care instructions note to hand wash or dry clean it. Since it’s cashmere, I wouldn’t risk the washing machine, though I know some people don’t love pieces they can’t just throw in the wash. (Has anyone successfully washed cashmere in their own machine? It feels like a bold move, but I’d really like to know.) As for fit, I wish I’d gone down to an XS, so size down if you don’t want it quite as oversized.

I ordered: XS, Raindrop · Price: $198 · Shop the Canyon Insulated Sporty Jacket
Because it’s insulated, I expected it to be heavier, but it’s extremely lightweight, so it’s truly more of a jacket vs. a coat. I’d call it medium warmth, good down to about 50 degrees, and I wouldn’t wear it much colder without more layers. It’s a nice layer for being active outside in the fall and in Southern winters, and since you can really move in it, it works for golf and walking. The sleeves are a little long on me, but I’m petite, so if you’re on the fence, maybe size down. The pale blue color “Raindrop” is pretty too.
Overall, I’d give Vuori an A-. I really liked everything, even more than I expected, which is a lot coming from someone who doesn’t normally love athleisure. I’d happily wear all of these throughout the day because they feel nicer than workout gear.
You can certainly work out in them, but they’re ideal if you like wearing workout clothes all day and working out later. And if you’re really into athleisure, you will love them.
The only pieces I didn’t love were the two tanks, the Pose Plyo Tank and the Energy Top. They seem better suited to taller or more flat-chested women, and the sizing didn’t quite work for me.
I haven’t owned these pieces long enough to say how they hold up, so I’ll update this Vuori review in a few months.
If you’re only going to order one piece, start with the Halo Easy Wideleg Pant, then add the Energy Classic Tee. Those two were definitely my favorite out of all the products I tried.
I’ve also bought Tommy the Vuori Kore Short and the Strato Tech Tee, and he really likes them for working out. He’s not big into athleisure either, but if he’s ever wearing it, it’s always, always Vuori. He finds their clothing true to size.

Not in my experience. The leggings don’t run small, but the tops seem to run large. I’d size down on the tanks and the jacket if you’re on the fence.
I felt like I had to pull the AllTheFeels™ Legging up a little bit, which might be a sizing issue. The AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare fit better, and I didn’t feel like I was pulling them up as much.
Yes. The AllTheFeels™ Legging, the AllTheFeels™ Slim Flare, and the Halo Easy Wideleg Pant all come in a Short length, and I wear the Short in all three at 5’1″. Vuori’s Short is for 5’4″ and under and runs about 2″ shorter than the regular length.
I haven’t owned these pieces long enough to give you a fair answer. I’ll report back in a few months.
Yes, absolutely. Vuori is extremely well-made and very timeless, so any piece on this list will work for women over 40. It’s high quality and not trendy, and it makes athleisure look classic, not frumpy or like you’re trying to dress too young.
For me, yes. I gave it an A- overall, and my full verdict is in “My Vuori Review: Is It Worth the Price?” above.
This post was sponsored by Vuori, but as always, everything I say is my honest opinion. Thank you for supporting the brands that support my business!
