My Amazon Fashion Favorites: Vol.2
Welcome to my second ever Amazon Fashion Favorites post! I’m really excited about this series on the blog because I LOVE a good Amazon find. I know shopping on Amazon, especially for fashion, can be overwhelming. There are SO many items to choose from, and many of them look the exact same, but from different sellers. Some items arrive and blow me away by their quality (like the sweater below) and some are just awful that I am baffled by the five star ratings!
So my goal with this series is to help narrow down the search by highlighting a handful of finds each week. I’ll keep these posts short and sweet, and give you a bite-size amount of information for each pick.
I’m also going to order 1-2 things per post, so that I can tell you exactly what I think about them and show you how they look. I know having someone else try something on for me is always my preference! I’ll also update the previous week’s finds with anything that I ordered so if you’re clicking back through previous volumes, you’ll have additional context on those too!
Alright, let’s jump into this week’s finds!
This green sweater from Amazon is a WINNER! It’s by The Drop, which is always a good option on Amazon (pro-tip). I love the side button detail, the oversized turtleneck, and the cropped length. I’m wearing an XS, which is my usual size. I was blown away by the quality of this. It’s a great weight, the fabric is soft, it’s not itchy and the fit is great! It’s a $45 sweater but I’ve purchased similar items that cost $100+. This is a GREAT find. Click here to add it to your cart.
These $15 fuzzy slippers are TOO cute to miss. They’d made a great stocking stuffer or gift for a friend. The green color makes these feel 10x chicer too!
I’m picky about joggers. Since I’m 5’1″, I have to be sure joggers don’t swallow my legs and overwhelm my frame. I haven’t actually ordered this pair, but it’s on my radar to do so. I LOVE the muted green color (again, much chicer looking than the other options), and I like the seams on the pants that give them some shape. They’re from The Drop too, which is always a good sign!
The best way to feel cute in athleisure outfits is to make them a set. When my top and bottoms go together, I immediately feel cuter. I LOVE this hoodie. It matches the joggers above and it’s only $16!
This is very chic! I love an open front cardigan, and this thicker option is super cute. It has great reviews, and would look great paired with blue, black, or winter white jeans. I’d get the light tan color, since the other colors seem to be different styles actually.
I can’t get over how beautiful this sweater dress is!! The sweetheart neckline is super feminine, and paired with a cute pair of platform heels, this is just lovely.
I saw this quilted jacket on a blogger I follow and could not BELIEVE it was Amazon! Again, the key here is color. The mustard yellow color feels so high end to me, and gal who recommended it paired it with light was jeans and ballet flats. She looked adorable! It’s a little oversized, so make sure you’re expecting that! Oh, and CUFF THE SLEEVES! They’re lined and so cute.
Will someone PLEASE buy this and let me borrow? I love the look of this satin dress, and the halter is so flattering. I would only buy this in the coffee color, since the others look slightly cheap to me. Satin can be hit-or-miss, as we probably all know, but for this price, it’s worth a shot. Imagine how pretty this would be for holiday photos? You could also wear this cashmere wrap with it.
I’m so excited about this find, and I’m definitely ordering it myself. A simple sweater like this goes such a long way in the colder months, and I love the color options. I’m eyeing the light brown, light blue (so pretty), or white. I like the baby mock-neck, and I also appreciate that it looks thin enough to tuck into jeans.
The last find today are these two-tone mule heels. They look like these Chanel flats, but they’re only $50, and a little dressier with the heel. I’ve tried a few cheaper sling back heels from Amazon and Walmart this fall, and I’m realizing that the trick is to go for a slip on mule when it’s a cheaper shoe, since the fit is so much better. For some reason, cheap sling backs are always HUGE!
Pair these mules with straight leg jeans and a black sweater for dinner or a casual work day!
