Last Week’s Workouts

M – REST

T – 8 miles, intervals, average 8:00 min pace + CrossFit

  • Run: 12 x 1min @5K-10K pace (6:30-6:45) w/ 1 min recovery + WU/CD. I should have hit the track – it was so dang dark! I was nervous I was going to trip and never felt comfortable going all out.
  • Crossfit: 5×6 front squats – 105, 115, 120, 125, 130#. The last set was TOUGH. I was so excited I got it. The metcon was really tough – double unders, wall balls, slam balls, sit-ups, lunges. Here’s the exact workout!

W – Yoga

Th – 5.5 miles, 9 min pace. This was supposed to be a tempo run but my legs were smoked from Tuesday’s front squats. + CrossFit

  • CrossFit
    • Deadlifts – 1×8 @ 135, 1×6 @ 185, 1×4 @ 215, 1×1 @ 230 (I was supposed to do 1×2 but I failed. I can do singles but I can’t do touch & go!)
    • 12 min AMRAP – 8 slam balls, 16 sit-ups, 8 push-ups. I loved this workout! But man, my push-ups are weak.

F – REST

Sa – 13 miles, 8:30 min pace. This run felt AMAZING. I had needling done again this week; the entire back of my hamstring was black and blue, but my glutes, hips and hamstrings all feel so much looser!

Total weekly miles: 26.2

I switched up my training to put my long run on Saturdays so I could have more downtime on Sundays. This past week was almost 20 miles lower than my previous run week and it felt good to have a down week.

Su – REST. Tommy and I went to the driving range for a bit; I hadn’t hit balls in probably over a month and it was a gorgeous day for it!

Last Week’s Favorite Fall Outfits

I am completely obsessed with these Paige jeans. I have looked for over a year for jeans that fit my muscular quads and glutes AND my waist (running problems, CrossFit problems). I’ve tried multiple pairs of Paige jeans and they’re all 100% perfect. They’re so flattering and comfortable. Definitely my go-to brand! I have these flare ones too and they’re gorgeous.

I loooove these faux leather leggings and this sweater is insanely cozy and soft. It was a perfect date night outfit! The necklace pulled the look together. I wore my go-to Guess pumps, and I think it’s time for a new pair; they’re starting to get worn out. (That will be my 3rd or 4th pair over 10 years! They’re a classic!).

I wore this to church and brunch afterwards. Burgundy pants are my faaaaavorite. They make a simple white top or black top instantly more special. And so do leopard print heels, obviously. 😉 I love mine, but these are absolutely gorgeous.

I blogged about my outfit to the winery here! Finally a cold-shoulder top I like! 🙂
