Amazon Fashion Favorites: Vol.16

Happy mid-March! We’ve had truly beautiful weather these past few weeks in Winston Salem. Other than the pollen. Which has been terrible. I never had allergies until I moved to the South, but it’s worth it since I love all the trees and blossoms here.

Since it’s been so nice outside, I’ve been getting excited about swapping out my sweaters for blouses and my booties for sandals. I even put them all away since I’m DONE with turtlenecks and closed toe booties! Instead, I’ve been wearing lighter colored jeans, lighter weight tops, t-shirts and I’ve ordered a few new new dresses, heels, tops, and even swimsuits from some of my favorite retailers because the new arrivals are SO good!

Along with the retailers I shop the most (Tuckernuck, Madewell and Abercrombie), I’ve also been scouring Amazon for spring finds. This past week, I ordered a handful of swimsuits, which are all going to be included in a separate post, but I’ll also share a few of them today in case you have warm spring break plans on the horizon.

Okay, enough chit chat. Here’s this week’s volume of Amazon finds.

Amazon Fashion Favorites: Vol.16

Solid & Striped One Piece Swimsuit

Solid and Striped is a well known swimsuit brand, and I was really excited to see them on Amazon (you know, so that I can get free shipping and returns!). The price of this one piece is higher than most swimsuits you’ll see on Amazon, but after hearing great things about the quality of this brand (and because I’m on a hunt for the very best one pieces), I decided to order it. I have an XS. The booty isn’t quite full coverage, which is the only reason I didn’t keep it. If you have a trip planned with your hubby, or if you don’t mind a little cheekier coverage, this suit is perfect. The top is VERY flattering. I do think it runs small, so I’d size up.

Cut Out Front One Piece Swimsuit

I ordered this light blue swimsuit because the reviews were REALLY good. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! The price is way lower than the Solid & Striped one above, and it’s actually discounted even further right now. I ordered a size XS, and it runs maybe a little large so size down if you’re on the fence.

Clear Block Heel Sandals

I keep seeing this look all over social media and now that I own them myself, I understand why! They’re the sandal that pairs with everything. There are a lot of similar versions online, but this $40 from Amazon is super comfortable, not too high (or too short), and fits true to size. They were comfortable right out of the box! If you’re heading on a spring break trip soon, snag these.

The Drop Kavya Poplin Short Sleeve Tee

You may have to use your imagination a little with this top. It’s hard to see past the PJ-looking set, but the top, styled with white jeans or denim shorts, would be SO fun for spring and summer! I’d make sure the collar was popped just a tad (so that it doesn’t lay completely flat), and I’d tuck the front casually (a messy front tuck). You could also tie the front panels together for a cropped look with high waisted shorts. We’re going to see lots of striped patterns this spring, so trust me on this ;).

The Drop Diza Pull-On Flare Leg Crochet Pant

I’m VERY into crochet for this summer. I had a really fun crochet cover up for my trip to Dominica this winter, and since then, I’ve been on the hunt for more crochet pieces to wear with swimsuits this summer. I LOVE these brown pants, which would look great paired with a swimsuit (one or two piece!). They’re super high waisted, so you’ve have a good amount of coverage, even if you just had a bikini top on the top.

Cotton Stripe A Line Midi Dress with Pockets

I told you stripes were back, didn’t I? I’ve ordered dresses from this brand multiple times and I’ve loved each one. Smocked midi dresses like this are super versatile because they can be dressed down with flat sandals or even sneakers, and then easily dressed up with fun earrings and heeled sandals. They’re also majorly mom-friendly. I wore a smocked midi dress all spring last year while I chased around my then 1.5 year old (it was also from Amazon, actually!).

I LOVE the blue and white stripe combo, especially since it can be worn on the 4th of July! This looks almost identical to a $200+ one I have from Tuckernuck (see at the bottom of this post)!

Sleeveless V Neck Button Up Blouse

This blouse is by the same brand as above, and I cannot believe the price. I’m definitely going to order this to try. Since it’s so affordable, I’m guessing that the fabric is somewhat thin, so I’m going to go with a darker color just in case. I LOVE the dark green option, so that’s what I’ve added to my cart.

Front Crossover One Piece Swimsuit

I’ve seen this suit on a few influencers and each time I think to myself, “I should try that!” It looks much more expensive than it is, and I like that it airs on the side of sexy, but that it’s definitely not too revealing. The cut of it just feels so elevated!

Enza Costa Essential Supima Cotton Scoop Tank

One of my very favorite maternity dresses was from Enza Costa when I was pregnant with Thomas. The quality is SO good, and I love that you can find it on Amazon now! This tank is one of those tops that I don’t really want to spend $50 on, but I know that if I do, I’ll wear it non-stop. Basics like this are always my favorite investments for my closet, so I’m going to order it and thank myself later. I love wearing white, but with a 2.5 year old, I don’t want to invest a ton in white pieces. I know that $50 is a good price for this top.

V Neck Ruffled Layered Chiffon Mini Dress

I know we’ve all seen this style plenty of times, but we also know how much wear it gets! This swing dress is perfect for church, date night, a lunch with friends, or even for school drop off, paired with sneakers. The key is to get a color you’re excited about, since the cut isn’t anything revolutionary. I love how easy these dresses are to wear with a regular bra, and the fact that the elastic waist is super flattering.

Crew Neck Striped T Shirt

Since I tend to opt for cut off denim shorts at least 50% of the time when I’m getting dressed in the spring, I want to have a good rotation of casual shirts to throw on. I got this in the V02 color in size XS.

Okay, that’s all I’ve got for today. Happy shopping!
