What I’m Wearing Lately: Spring Transition Outfits

Early spring in the South is always such a confusing time for my wardrobe. The weather is getting warmer and I sweat on my walk wearing shorts, and the next day I’m bundled up with a coat and gloves. So that’s what you’ll notice in this March outfit roundup. I wore lots of jeans (including a new pair that I’m loving) and long sleeved shirts. You’ll also see some Trunk Club winners (and a few losers)!

March Outfit Roundup

I just got these MOTHER jeans and I’m seriously obsessed. I had been wanting another pair of jeans that aren’t skinny jeans, and these were the perfect find. I’m petite and they even hit at the perfect spot above my ankle. They have a longer panel in the back, which makes them look even more flattering from the front and side. I will say they’re on the more expensive side for jeans, but since I wear jeans almost daily, I always pick quality over quantity.

This top is J.Crew and I have it in every color. The shoes are my favorite Sam Edelman loafers — I just FINALLY bought a new pair since I had worn my last pair into the ground! I love them!!

I love a classic jean and a simple tee. These jeans are by Good American (my fav skinny jeans).

Oh look, I already got breastmilk on my new loafers. Thankfully it didn’t stain!

I wore this outfit on a date night recently (YAY for our first date night since we became parents!). The jeans are the MOTHER pair that I raved about above and the top is old so I linked something similar. These heels are also old but I found a really similar pair.

This top came in a March Trunk Club box but it’s completely sold out other than XS. I loved the colors but the fit was way too baggy on me. Jeans are Good American.

This was another Trunk Club outfit I got this month. The top is super comfortable and fit really well. The jeans are by GUESS and I HATED them so they went back.

Another Trunk Club try-on. This top reminded me of the Seinfeld shirt… back it went! These jeans are by FRAME and were just slightly too large on me.

I really liked this pair of jeans that came in my Trunk, but the knee holes hit too low on me. (I’m only 5’1!”) I love the top though, and I’ve worn it multiple times since I got it!. The fabric feels amazing and the one shoulder look makes it slightly more interesting than a basic black sweater.

This pullover came in a Trunk a month or so ago, and I’ve really loved it. It’s cropped, so it fits my petite frame well and doesn’t look oversized. These jeans are my new MOTHER pair.

I finally bought a Barefoot Dreams cardigan, and now I finally understand why people are always talking about that brand! It is truly THE softest piece of clothing I own and I look forward to putting it on first thing in the morning and when I wind down at night. I also love wearing it at my desk since it’s right above the air conditioning vent. These jeans are by Abercrombie and they’re finally back in stock! My go-to work-at-home shoes are UGG slippers!

This sports bra is so soft and perfect for low impact workouts like yoga. I love it with high waisted leggings so that it isn’t showing too much of my torso, but it’s still cute.

Another outfit with this black top! I love it for after workouts when I don’t have time to shower. These days I’m loving these makeup wipes for post workout too since I typically can’t shower right away (nursing Thomas comes first!).
