Last weekend was so much fun! It kicked off with the Garth Brooks concert on Friday night. I was really nervous because I started to get a migraine on Friday afternoon – insane headache, dizziness, sensitivity to light, the whole shebang. Luckily, a short nap, lots of ibuprofen, tons of water and some extra coffee kept it at bay. But nothing could have stopped me from seeing Garth!
Seeing Garth Brooks has been on my bucket list since I was a young teenager, so when he retired before I could see him I was devastated, and obviously thrilled when he announced he was touring again and coming so close to Winston-Salem. Needless to say, I was a wee bit excited for the concert. This is my super giddy face as I headed out.
The concert was better than I could have even imagined. He was such a great performer and sang all the old songs. And it was awesome that Trisha Yearwood performed too! I wish the concert had lasted longer than it did. I had so much fun with the group of friends I went with, and the night flew by.
Who is on your bucket list to see in concert? I’d still love to see Coldplay and Tegan & Sara
