Welcome back to my Amazon fashion favorites series!

Just like with anything in life, balance is key–which is my philosophy when it comes to shopping. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I have a mix of high-end and affordable styles in my wardrobe. I’m picky about what I invest in, since I know that I need to be able to get a LOT of wear out of my pricier items.

But I’m less picky when it comes to affordable fashion, and especially Amazon. I love how easy it is to place a Prime order and then return everything right away if it doesn’t work. (I oddly love the new self-return kiosk at our Whole Foods.)

Amazon has been shocking me with their fashion selection in the last few months, and I’ve been having so much fun sourcing finds for these posts. It’s always a fun surprise when I find something that looks and feels so much more expensive. In today’s post, I’m highlighting a classic winter peacoat that looks much more expensive than it really is.

Let’s hop in!

My Amazon Fashion Favorites: Vol. 4

Notched Lapel Cotton Blend Coat

First off, let’s chat about this peacoat. I took a little bit of a risk ordering this with only 34 ratings on Amazon, but I’m SO glad I did! I ordered a Small (I’m typically an XS, but they don’t carry XS in this coat), and it actually fits me very well. A few other things to note: it’s very soft. While most pea coats are made of a heavy wool, this one is actually a cotton blend, so it’s soft and cozy. It almost feels like a soft sweater.

While it’s not a super cheap Amazon find (still $70), it’s a much better price than similar looks from other retailers (and much softer I’d bet).

I love that you can style this a few different ways – it can be dressed up or down. Below, I’m wearing it with my favorite Abercrombie jeans and a pair of leather clogs.

You could also style it with black jeans and a black top (like I’m wearing), for a more dressy look. It’s perfect for an office jacket too!

And you can also dress it down even further for a chic street-style look.

Tencel Drop Shoulder Quilted Jacket

I’m really excited about this next coat find: this Drop Shoulder Quilted Jacket. I was drawn to it when I saw the Chai Tea color. While I’m not into many of the other colors, the light brown chai tea option feels very classy to me. The key with a slouchy jacket like this is to pair with a tailored jean. I don’t like to wear a slouchy top with a loose bottom, but paired with fitted jeans, this would be so cute!

Zayne Holiday Shine Slip Dress

Hello holidays! This slip dress is less than $60 and from our favorite Amazon designer: The Drop. I LOVE the shiny metallic sheen with the simple slip cut. You could wear it on it’s own, or throw a white or black sweater over the top (use this bra trick by my friend Chloe!), and wear it as a skirt-top combo. I’m drawn to the pewter color.

Ryder Ombre Mock Neck Sweater

This pattern may be a turn-off for some, but I’ve been seeing a few fashion bloggers wearing this style pattern recently and I think it’s going to be super popular this winter! I also love the elongated ribbed sleeve cuff, which would be so cute when you pull the sleeves up just slightly. UPDATE: I ordered this and LOVE it. See it on me here.

Quick-Dry Running Shorts

I’ve been hearing people talk about these running shorts non-stop. Apparently they’re better than Lululemon?! I definitely want to try these. Other reviews I’ve read say to size up one size in these, which I’ll do when I place my order. I love that $25 price tag! I’m not running in shorts often right now (here’s my cold weather running gear), but I’m always happy to replace old running clothes when I find something great.

Pleated Knotted Mule Sandals

If you love the Loeffler Randall Bow Heels but don’t love the price tag, I found a great dupe! These bow heels look almost identical to the pair by Loeffler Randall! The reviews say to size down, which has been true for the other Amazon shoes I’ve ordered.

Velvet Maxi Dress Plunging V Neck

I am obsessed with anything velvet, and this dress is no exception. I LOVE the maxi length and the plunging V-neck. It has great reviews and the price is amazing: $39!

Stripe Knitted Casual Pullover

I LOVE this pullover! I’ve always loved stripes, so I’m very happy that they’re popular again this year. This 1/4 zip style is super cozy and very cute tucked into jeans with a pair of leather sneakers. UPDATE: I ordered this and love it! See it on me here.

Happy shopping!
