when the local forecast looks like this? And the Weather.com 10-day forecast shows the exact same thing x 2?
Run in the rain of course! The light rain that our group start in became a downpour at about mile 2. Four miles later, all seven of us were completely drenched. Obviously. And we all agreed it was a great run; fun even. Obviously. We’re nuts. Obviously.
So my question is: Do I have to shower after I run in a rainstorm? For the record, I did this morning. But I have at least 10 more days to experiment. 🙂
P.S. I really do LOVE rain.

Funny. You're brave, I'm sure I would have fallen.
Well, I did actually roll my ankle. But that's because it was dark, not because of the rain. I got tripped up in a pot hole of some kind…
There are GYMs around you know.
Well, Peak closed out from under me. The women's gym is too far. And running in the rain is more fun. As you'll learn next week. 🙂
But yes, I do need to figure out another gym situation. 🙂
What marathon are you running?
The Ridge to Bridge in Morganton, NC. You?
Running in the rain is seriously the BEST! I LOVE it. There is just something about running in the rain…
run in the rain i guess! i admire your dedication.
PEAK Closed??? OMG. I loved that gym…
Yeah, they kept closing down their gyms one by one without telling ANYONE. It was super sketchy. Stupid Peak.
Did I ever tell you that you're my running idol? If not, you totally are. I'm so glad I can blog stalk you now! Seriously, we should get together while we both live out here! Come to visit us in October- we can go to horse races!!
ps i absolutely LOVE your hair!
