I seriously can’t believe I’m picking CrossFit over running these days. But I’m still going with what sounds fun and listening to my body. And I’m really loving CrossFit – the variety is a really nice change of pace, and the change of pace is a nice change of pace.  🙂

Hope you guys had a nice long weekend! It was a really, really great weekend for me – recap soon! Sleep first.

    1. Yes, I want everything grilled!

I totally agree with the article that you cannot out exercise a bad diet! Diet is king for weight loss. I thought training for a half marathon (in 2012) would make me look good, but that was NOT the case. Changing my diet a year later made all the difference!

      I loooooooove that you’re picking CF 🙂

    2. Wow. Reading both those articles can really make your head spin. I agree with the line that the key is finding balance – it’s not strictly one or the other and depends in part on the particular person. Kind of makes you wonder if anyone knows what they’re talking about.

P.S. If you have a ton of matcha send me some – I really want to make green tea ice cream (to enjoy in moderation) and that stuff is crazy expensive. I’ll even send you the results. Haha. Just kidding. Sort of.

    3. i love doing stuff alone too. i used to be afraid of eating out alone but now i kinda love it!! and i think i enjoy my meal more instead of just talking the whole way thru it. also…those burgers. wow.
