My Must-Have Dishes for Thanksgiving

post featured image

You guys, Thanksgiving is next week. How did this happen?! I swear we were just starting October. Regardless, it’s here and we gotta be ready. I often get overwhelmed each year searching for the best Thanksgiving side dish recipes and best Thanksgiving dessert recipes online and forget that I have some pretty good staples that I can go to. Plus, I know they’re crowd pleasers from previous years, get togethers, parties where I’ve shared these. Even my 5 older brothers and 17 nieces and nephews will like these… well, maybe not the bourbon cranberry sauce. 😉 But they’ll like the kale salads. That’s right fam – we’re having kale! 😉

Best Thanksgiving side dish recipes + two dessert recipes (that aren’t pie!)

Links to the recipes are below. If you’re interested in any of these, I’d love it if you saved them to your Thanksgiving Pinterest board and then shared the link to your board with me! I’d love to see what else you have planned this year.

Extra perk for all of these recipes: they can all be made in advance and can easily be doubled (or tripled) if necessary. Woot!

    1. Me too! I can’t believe time fly by fast! I am also hyped up for the Thanksgiving Day next week and I can’t wait to make my Cheesy Turkey Meatballs!

    2. About five years ago I took a kale salad to Thanksgiving dinner. My midwestern, meat and potatoes loving family was a little weirded out at first, that’s for sure. But upon trying it, ‘any asked for the recipe and I’ve since become the “salad girl” every year. I feel like I’ve exhausted just about every kale salad option BUT I’ve never ibcluded clementines so I think this recipe will be perfect. Found it just in the nick of time. Thanks!
